GRANT NATIONAL (Köln):

Stoner Metal is entirely too narrow a niche. GRANT NATIONAL, formed in Cologne in 2009, they mix Black Sabbath, The Stooges, Sleep, The Crows, James Brown and enough pop sensibility that your cool cousin might like them.
Their new album HEXCRAFT will be released in October 2020. It rules.

PURPLE DAWN (Köln):

The DOOM-POWER-TRIO from Cologne have their roots in the young days of sabbathy heavy music and the massive sounds of bands like Windhand or Electric Wizard. Always keeping the balance between hard riffing energy and melody. It’s Peace and Doom.

ASTRAL KOMPAKT (Köln):

Das Kölner Power-Trio bezieht seine Inspiration aus unterschiedlichen Genres, um diese auf den Punkt genau zu dem zu verschmelzen, was instrumentalen Stoner Rock ausmacht. Kraftvoll mit eingeschaltetem Fuzz geht es ohne Umweg in andere Sphären, doch immer schön erdig mit einer ordentlichen Portion Doom. Live fühlt sich das an wie ein Erdbeben.
